Meetings

Open Wednesdays

Every Wednesday night from 7pm - 10pm the Hack Factory is open to everyone. It's an informal gathering where we talk geek, show off our accomplishments, work on projects and just hang out. Note that only current members are allowed to use the equipment (it's a liability thing), but anyone can stop by and check out the Factory. We love new faces!

Women's Night

This is an open house that is held once a month focused on women. We meet the last Tuesday of every month; doors open at 6pm and activites run from 7 until 10. Each meeting will focus on several different interest topics and allow for hands on access to tools and equipment.

Board Meetings

The Twin Cities Maker Board meets on the second Tuesday of the month. Meetings take place at the Hack Factory, and start at 7:00pm.

Minutes of past board meetings can be found on the Meetings Minutes page. We also have a list of Current Board Projects and Tasks.

Board Meetings are open to everyone, and The Board heartily encourages member participation. The Agenda for the meeting is usually posted at least 48 hours before the meeting on the Board Meeting Agenda page, and if you have business to present to the board it is appreciated if you can email [email protected] in advance of that deadline, although unannounced business may be covered at the meeting.

Member Meetings

We have an Annual Members Meeting, typically in the summer, that goes over the progress for the year and will elect or re-elect members of the Board of Directors.

We may have Special Members Meetings in the case of major business that the Board feels the members need to weigh in on.

All official Member Meetings will have notices sent to all Members In Good Standing explaining the purpose of the meeting, and it's location in a timely fashion. It is crucial that your dues be paid on time, if they are not, we can not consider your membership to be "In Good Standing" for the purposes of voting.
