Hack Factory

The “Hack Factory” is the name of the facility that we manage. It has a large workshop space, classroom, (eventual) paint booth, lounge, and a clean crafts area. Our formal paperwork has us registered with the state and federal governments as “The Hack Factory of Minnesota”.

In addition to hosting our events and classes, it often hosts meetings for groups that have similar missions to ours. These include DC612 (the local defcon club), and the local Asterix users group.

Just as the Minnesota Twins play at Target Field for home games, the Hack Factory is the home base of Twin Cities Maker, however our organization works to extend our community far beyond its walls.

The following is a (very rough) depiction of floor plan (as of 02/2011): credit goes to paulsobczak for excellent detail and artistic expression
