Details on the newly acquired Jet JSG-6 Belt / Disc sander.
It's an older model and needs some TLC as well as some parts, thanks to Cam for getting it cleaned up, Jude for getting it powered up, and Stephen for repairing the trunnions that hold the discs table in place.
Needed updates / repairs / parts.
- trunnion parts need to be replaced, I'll consult with Stephen to make sure I'm ordering the right thing
- The is no dust collection, for the disc it's pretty simple, we just need an adapter for the housing to a dust port. The belt uses a cover piece that we don't have, and it's $80, so we may want to look at making one.
The manual for the newer dust collection enabled version is here. It's not very well done.
