Saw these at the Saint Paul Ax Man today, if anyone is interested. It's a big 12V DC motor connected to a big lead screw with a long metal tube which holds a nut of some sort and extends 3' it says. Not high tolerance stuff but interesting, it says it's from an RV, not sure if it was for awnings and the like or a leveling system, or ? seems to big for awnings and too small for leveling.

That's totally a leveling jack or a slide-out room actuator. Probably capable of a good amount of force.
