Hey, now that we have a space, and are starting to bring equipment in, have we established a process to donate/buy stuff for the Hack Factory? I know that we have a table saw, but the quality seems to be a bit iffy. I tend to troll CL a bit looking for stuff, and I found these:

$225 10in Craftsman Table saw - http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ank/t ... 77565.html
$900 Powermatic Artisan 10-Inch Left Tilt 1-1/2 Horsepower Contractor Saw with 50-Inch Accu-Fence http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/csw/t ... 94946.html
$1300 REALLY NICE 10" Dewalt woodworkers table saw with sliding table & 52" fence http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/dak/t ... 75559.html

I would be willing to donate a C note or two of the funds to purchase, but would need help w/ the remainder plus help transporting it to the space...

Donations can be dropped off anytime you want. If you want "credit" for it (say, tax credit once we get 501c3 status), let us (President or Treasurer are best option, there) know and we'll arrange something with you.

We don't have a tool fund yet, since we haven't stabilized at an income level. Hopefully, after the Minne-faire, we'll see an influx of members that will enable us to start thinking about buying things.

Shit, I was just hoping to convince a couple people to go in on it so we could get it done.
