Does anybody have any good ideas where I can get my hands on a replacement IR transmitter for the V1.0 RCX.
I talked my father-in-law out of the RIS that was given to him on my recommendation years ago (that I had fun with over Christmas but he never touched).
Anyway I think the IR tower has been MIA since that Christmas and that stuff seems to go for more than I really want to spend on ebay.
So any good ideas would be appreciated.

Haha, you had me thinking I was loosing it. NoScript was preventing it from being displayed...I think I've been staring at the screen too long today.

http://noscript.net/It's script (and flash, etc.) blocking plug-in for firefox that allows you to selectively allow or disallow scripts at the page level.

I asked the seller about shipping before I realized my noscript problem. I guess it pays to ask, it was dropped $6 this morning which brings it below my $30 pain threshold.

I have that exact same set(brick, transmitter, even the IR remote(the most ubber of accessories)).
I never use it and would be totally willing to part with it for nothing. As long as you don't mind waiting a few weeks, the next time I venture down to the cities, I'll swing by my parents place and dig it out of child-hood memories storage.
Let me know if you want it in a PM or something.
