OK, this idea has been pecking at my brain for quite a while and we'll see how it flies. The object is to run a virtual Rube Goldberg machine with a chain of improbable actions. Maybe this will be some fun for us and provide a light-hearted diversion. I'm not aiming to collect BB posts for the sake of inflating our message volume, and generally I'm against such practices, but space is cheap, so what the heck. If the thread falls by the wayside, is voted to be shut down or locked at some point, fine. I don't care that much, but it might be the source of a few good laughs. We can illustrate posts with images too.

So here we go! I'll start with the first action...

I ring a doorbell,

then...

*cue "Powerhouse" music by Raymond Scott...

...the doorbell having been detected by the antique gramophone of none other than Beetle Juice (!), and which, upon activation, serves as his alarm clock, unfailingly goosing ol' BJ into a rockin' tap routine.

After 29 seconds, the gramophone completes the ditty, sailing erratically now to the edge of the dusty vinyl plate, bumping into...

a coffee mug

,... where Beetle Juice's pet TARANTULA sleeps overnight.

BJ arranges that coffee cup very carefully, so that "FLUFFY" predictably falls out of the cup on the gramophone stand, plunging toward the floor and landing on...

another bigger coffee cup, and this time it's red and full of tea green tea with lemon grass.

...causing the vile liquid to splash and trickle down the sides of the cup onto BJ's ultra-sensitive piano dance mat!
