Wow, JTB, that image helps a lot! I'm probably going to do a few more. If anyone has a request for a type of style, let me know!

Obviously, this would only be a "hint" of steampunk lurking behind the modern shiny icons. I don't know if iPhone/iTouch icons can be modded; it would be great to have steampunk icons! Regardless, the shiny and plastic look of contemporary objects doesn't flip my switch. My personal preference for the iPhone/iTouch (if I had one) would be a textured background to contrast with and battle the plastic world.

THANKS! Another steampunk fan, huh? OH, BTW, as promised earlier I updated the banner on the AcidTech Tiger theme. Check it out! If there are no strong objections, we can deploy versions of this banner across all the themes. Actually, in the past the bulletin board banner has been considered to be a "biker shed" issue, meaning not too many in the organization care that much about it.

I'm not really a steampunk fan, I just like the designs. ;)

No opinions on this yet, except one person has said the person in the banner looks a bit "crazed" and we might not want that for the general public. Any other opinions? I'll put the image here now so a person doesn't have to switch to AcidTech Tiger to see it:
