Meeting, June 24th

Dave (Idris_Arslanian) has graciously offered to host our meeting for tomorrow night.

His address is 3137 Garfield St NE, Minneapolis. Don't worry, I have his permission for the public posting.

Meeting time is the standard 7 p.m.

We will be discussing the changes to the by-laws for incorporating as a non-profit (addition of one section to the beginning of them) and the acceptance of the articles of incorporation with necessary changes, as drafted by the executive board last week.

We'll also discuss the potential of the clothesline (zipline, it was pointed out, has some very specific denotations) race-o-rama that I mentioned in another thread.

Alright, so we are good to go at my place for tonight's meeting. A couple notes:

We don't have AC. That said, the unfinished basement is holding at about 67, so we should be comfortable down there.

I will get the grill going if people want to bring grillable goodness.

You are welcome to bring your own beverages. I have beer on tap, but if you could bring replacement soldiers, it would be appreciated.

We've got a 13 month old and a very calm Welsh Corgi, FYI to anyone w/ allergies.

I have pretty bad allergies- will the 13-month-old be kept upstairs?

You have cats, though -- does that mean you're specifically allergic to dog dander?
(I have a sister-in-law who is allergic to cats but not dogs)

It was a jibe on the fact that he posted the Corgi and the 13-month old in the same sentence- then asked if anyone was allergic.

I alluded to an allergy to 13-month-olds.

I guess it wasn't a GOOD joke, but, hey, I say more stupid things by 9 a.m. than most people say all day.

I liked your joke! I pick up on similar things all the time and make funny remarks, but in an innocent tone, when in conversation with my wife. Probably though she just thinks I'm stupid.

Hey, will we need to bring chairs?

Possible. We've got a few, but if anyone has spare folding chairs to bring, they'd be welcome.
