I don't know about actually breaking out the solder if we're sitting in the main area of a cafe. If we had the back room (or Leonardo's Basement) it'd be no trouble at all, but I'd feel weird about kicking up rosin smoke in what's basically a restaurant.

However, if you wanted, you could stop by my place some evening to attempt a fix, or I could bring my PC repair kit to you...?

hmmm i coulda grabbed my cold heat iron, but not sure i'll have time after work. gonna try to get there earlier to aim for a table or two on the patio (if it's not raining)
