So here's the 400-pixel preview. Imagine it 5" or 6" wide on a white t-shirt. For the Make day event at the Science Museum, which will be Pi Day (3/14) y'know. Thoughts?

*Personal opinion alert*
I hate white t-shirts.

It actually looks even better on a black background... but I'll be trying to execute this with an inkjet printer and iron-on paper, see. My t-shirt production capabilities are limited to "darken only" designs. It's very likely I'll be limited to applying the design onto whatever light-colored shirts people can provide, too. BYOS.

What is the "Twin Cities Maker" tie in here? Not to be too poo-poo, but should we maybe think about a shirt that will make sense in contexts OTHER than March 14th?
Don't get me wrong, it's a nerd-tastic shirt. But perhaps it's too situational, and not tied in enough with the Twin Cities Maker concept.
Could we simplify down the scientist guy to a monochrome line drawing, use the "Let's Build It" phrase, and put "TwinCitiesMaker.com" across the back?

what's the source on the banner guy?
imho these shirts just need to get folks to notice them and ask us what twin cities maker is.
pie day certainly manages that. it's also fitting in our beer and pie discussions, we have a lot of cooks in the group, and it's pi.

hmmm. i'll wager that since the website is technically personal at this point we're still w/in teh creative commons lic, but we might be pushing our luck printing it as a formal logo for our group, paul have you contacted them about use for other stuff?

I am not sure about using the logo for more formal use, I knew that we needed some type of logo at the beginning and I just made one. I thought, and still do, that we will come up with a better one, once we define our name. Although I have enjoyed the logo so far.
