While I am not 100% sure, but Convergence was booking the second hotel a for rooms earlier this year. As Scott or Bob about when they book a suite for the USS Nokomis, but I think you have to be ready about a year in advance...

We have a couple of TC Maker members that are members of the GPS, so we can get the details from them, but we would have to move fast.

Party rooms for this year are booked. They have to be reserved through the concom, not through the hotel. And they're not cheap -- the rooms in the atrium (the main party zone) are $225/night; bed removal costs $75 or $100 (I don't remember the exact price for this year).

I was part of a couple of parties at Convergence over the years. We almost had one last year (2011) for IGDA but got bumped from our room by MiniCon, because apparently we had been assigned to their ground floor room by the new party chair. Since our party plan required a ground floor room (with the porch area) we decided to not pursue it. They are fun to throw though.

Minicon starts this Friday. I'm still looking for some help bringing stuff from the Hack Factory to the hotel Friday morning, and coming back Sunday or Monday.
If I have to, I'll work the TCMaker table in the science room with what I can carry on the bus, but that's my last choice.

I'll be coming to the Hack Factory from downtown saint paul.

I can get to the shop by around 10 am, but there's a bit of flex time in the day.

What would work best for you time wise?

If needed, I can get to the shop considerably earlier to load up and roll to the hotel.
