Can we get a Web page/ blog up for the fair with a link on the main blog.

Does anyone want to take ownership of this?

Jude, I'm hoping to collaborate a little with Chris on the poster, see if he's got some ideas to add. Probably we can knock out a final version fairly quickly. Once we have that, we can do a blog post and expose the posters. Also, if we do a blog post, we probably should have a link ready to an application form, if you want to utilize one. Personally, I think it's a good idea. I can help create links to the Minne-Faire blog on our main page, wiki page, and forum page.

I'm looking for a little bit more than links to topics. I'd like to see a full out blog. With a link from the main blogs banner.

A place where we can highlight exhibitors, activities and all things fair related.

I also expect to set up a Fair at Tcmaker Email link.


But, I'd really like someone to take ownership of this.

Yes, of course. I didn't intend to mean links to topics.

In the interest of continuity with last year, we might want to keep the "info[-at-]tcmaker.org" email address in communications. Though as far as I know, only board members have access to this mailbox. We could set up a "fair[-at-]tcmaker.org" address, I'm sure, and give you access to it. Last year someone brought up the objection that some people might be have "faire" stuck in their heads and not correctly remember "fair." I don't know how much that really will come to bear, but we could also do something like "mmf[-at-]tcmaker.org." Let us know what you want and I'll get Brandon to arrange it, if I can't get it done myself.

I'll take ownership of creating the blog post page/menu link. I'll send you an initial draft. What is your time frame for getting this done?

Yah, Jude created a quick and dirty page yesterday. I'm going to work with Jude to develop it. I'm working from home today so I can't spend time on it until after work, but Paul or anyone, can you check the status of the faire page and make sure it's not yet publicly accessible?

The page is there, there is not an easy way to remove it, if you want you can remove the index.php from /faire and nothing will load, I will let you do that if you want, don't delete the page just rename it something.

A better way If you want to work on posts woud be to just set them all as "drafts" and they will not be published on the main /faire page.

Paul, Jude, or any anyone, can you do this? I'm off to work right now. Thanks.
