Hey, let's start collecting a list of potential exhibitors. I'm sure a lot of folks who attended last year will be interested, so we should start contacting them right away... of course we also need to create an application form soon too!

Actually the list is among our Google docs. Here is a list, probably somewhat incomplete. We also have listings of applicants/approved exhibitors who weren't at the 2010 Minne-Faire for some reason or other.

Ed V.: Electric cigar box guitars
Stefin G.: Stop motion animation, some green-screen
Bob P. and friends: Replica movie props
Adam W.: Displaying and playing with Arduinos
Brandon P.: TC Maker sign-up table
Pat A.: audio "noise" displays
J.T.B.: Laser-etched bacon
Tripoli MN/UMERG Rocketry: Amateur rockets
Nick and Jim of TC Maker: Operation game
CazTek Engineering: Fire thrower, static electricity generator, and other stuff
Nick and Alex: Music/LED art kits, contact microphones
Stanasys: Commercial 3D printer
Tim Kaiser: Electronic music, plus a performance
Bill Gurestelle: Makezine projects
Laura Holea: Polymer clay monsters
Someone(?): Historic foot-pedal lathe
TC Maker: Spoonapault

Quality Coaches at 38th and Nicollet has an electric conversion MG that was shown at Kingfield Farmer's Market a few times this past summer. Minne Faire might be of interest to them as well.

My mother and I would like to have another art booth set up with our creations, if you could add me to the list of 'definitely in' that would rock.

Thanks guys.

Request noted. What kind of "creations" will you have? If I recall correctly, conversations from years past included the notion of some preference for giving space to TC Maker members, if they wished to exhibit. How that stands for this year, though, is probably Jude's decision.

Right now my thinking of selection criteria:

1. Past exhibitors - They helped when we needed them
2. Tc Makers - It is our fair
3. People we really want - Squishy Circuits?
4. Coolness
5. Interactive

That is the rankings I'd like to see. That doesn't mean that if you are a TC Maker that exhibited in the past you are automatically in. But it would be really hard to fall out of the final selection.

Also I don't intend to make the final selections on my own. I'd like to setup a jury.
