John Wilson and I are talking about bringing our kids to the HF on Friday, the 30th of December, from 6-8pm. We don't have any activities planned, but I plan on bringing my big tub of Lego. Who all's in? Should we do snacks and juice?

This sounds like a good idea, JWB! I'd probably bring my niece, nephew, and grandkids. I think we need to have some safety controls in place though, maybe restricting participants to the classroom? And someone to watch out for wandering little ones? If this is meant to be a public event then of course we need to make sure all parents/guardians sign the insurance waiver.

If this is really going to happen, we could use a blog post, calendar entry, and social media blasts as soon as possible. I suggest this be stated as a members-only event as I'm not sure if we're prepared for insurance waiver signage from the public.

I myself won't have time to do any of this communication today or anytime soon tomorrow.

I'm planning to attend, and will likely have 2-4 electronics enthusiasts with me. Hacking some Christmas gifts (LED light pendants) and Arduinos are what we are planning.
