Thinking about some kind of game. a pneumatic game. like Crush, Crush, Can Revolution. Imagine if you will. 2 stomp pads connected to 2 separate 7 inch throw cylinders. The game is to use the stomp pad to build up pressure into the the crushing arm (like a bicycle pump). Hacker are competitive by nature. so why not bleed off a little of that energy to crush cans. We could even add point counters by pressure and number of stomps. I see a leader board feature added soon after...

I guess I'm not sure why you would need that much force. I'm sure you can crush a can with less then 200lbs. You have to rememeber that if you hit the can at a slight angle its side walls will buckle. Also I don't think it would be wise to do a -90 psi with a 90psi for the fact that most cylinders are rated at 150 psi. Soo I'm thinking that you might actually rupture the cylinder itself. That being said. If you wanted to create an easy -90 psi system that all you need to do is run two cylinders in tandom. One has 90 psi pushing in extending the rod. The other which is connected to the same rod just back words will have ~ the same amount of negitive pressure on one of its port. (the difference would be the cap end area vs rod end area)

Oh and I got bored and built a prototype out of wood. It's sitting in the shop office. I know where the directional control valve is. I don't have the quick connect tube or standard fittings for it.
