I propose we have a chili cookoff on Wednesday, November 30th. Anyone have any comments? Any RSVP's? Categories of grading: best overall, beef, pork, chicken, vegetarian, sweetest, smokiest, hottest, beery-est, vegitable-iest, meatiest, worst, beaniest, most Midwestern, most southern, most eclectic. Any others?

Are we still thinking chili on the 30th?
I don't think we need elaborate categories, really. Just best overall as decided by ballot, and maybe two other subcategories, like best vegetarian and something like most unique.

Sweet! chili cook off on the 30th it is. Lets claim a space/table in the classroom for folks to set up their crockpots (7pm?) and then have an official tasting/dinner time (8pm?)
Maybe some musically inclined person could whip up a suitable soundtrack for chili consuming...
