links in posts have changed color

Postby paulsobczak » Tue Sep 06, 2011 10:55 pm

I changed the color of the links in post to something that is a bit easier to pick out. It's kind of brownish, if anyone has suggestions at to what color it should be I'll gladly change it.

You might have to clear the cache in your browser to see the change.
If this is brown your cache doesn't need to be cleared.

I've been making them blue manually for awhile, I take it you made a global change to phpBB? My question would be what's a good contrast color for the color blind? (If there is a single answer to that question, which I'd guess is unlikely)

I googled about, but the references for checking for colorblindness, don't seem to work with phpBB. Or perhaps it's user error. At any rate, it seems there are at least 3 main types of colorblindness.

Thoughtful inquiry there... I'm interested in accessibility optimizations in general too, but considering that we're hard pressed even to maintain content, and we operate on a part-time volunteer basis, it's something that wil likely remain low on the totem pole for a while and we'll have to trust that those with considerable diffictulties will have found some general solutions for themselves already, i.e., custom css files for their browsers.
