We need to figure out where it will sit. So I can get the power to it. It sounds like that will be awhile yet, but I'd like to cost that out also.
(the big drill press too)

Thinking pretty close to where the old water fountain is. That way the water cooler can then be filled from a tap in the line. (and also get drained when the water gets nasty)

OK things are moving on the big TIG welder!!!
Dave is pitching in on power cable costs I'm buying the new torch handle and hoses.
Anyone want to pitch in on a new flowmeter/regulator its about $130???
I have an argon bottle that I own, but its pretty small. it will work for a bit. We will need to get a full size bottle very soon. or we will constantly be running out of shield gas.

Items purchased!
We will be having an orientation class in Nov once we get it up and running.
You will need to take the class to use it.
Right now my plan is to make the collet/electrode kit (3 commonly used sizes) that goes with the torch handle part of the orientation class/kit fee. That way everyone is using the same product and we don't have voltage capability mismatches. Plus we can get it locally and at a discount!!!
Part of the class fee will be paying for argon usage and getting a larger tank for the shop. (ie its for a good cause)

That's excellent news, thanks for pushing this ahead guys. I'm very hopeful we can get the drill press and compressor power needs sorted in the near future as well.

If it's cheaper, we should be able to use a non-fused 100A rated disconnect, as long as we use the appropriate 100A fuses in the overhead buss-plug disconnect.
