We shouldn't have to run beer lines, the beer will just get brewed on the setup, then be moved to a temp controlled area (yet another project) for fermentation. Speaking of which; we need to be on the lookout for spare chest freezers that can be converted.

Bumping thread as I heard from a couple people yesterday that they would be interested in working on this. The first thing we need to look at is building a rack to hold the kegs. We (The Two Daves) have discussed a three tier vertical system on wheels which would look something like this:

We could also do something simpler like a flat stand like this:

The flat stand would be much easier to engineer/build, but would require at least one pump to move wort between vessels. Who is interested in working on this? I know that Dave(videoman) has the appropriate welding skillset, but he is also busy w/ a lot of other stuff. Maybe a get-to-gether to discuss design? We could finish off whatever might be left of the keg I tapped last night...

I have a kegerator that I would enjoy being put to good use at the space. Only thing is, I can't fit it in my little coupe, so someone would have to help load/haul it. The spousal unit is fine with me taking our freezer. It's large, so we'll need to find a place to put the sucker. It's an old (80s) Kenmore chest freezer, still in good condition; I'll try to get some measurements tonight.

Those pours look terrible. No glass tilting mechanism? Looks like we've found what needs to be created with the MakerSlides, once we can get some. We've got the lead screws, beer people, hardware geeks, software geeks, electronics geeks. JB wanted a project, here it is.

Enhancements I see it needing right off the bat are;

*separate the power and the wet, electrocuted drunks smell terrible
*better feed back edge light pictographs, perhaps animated?
*beers to empty monitoring , pressure plate under keg with presets for keg type, prematurely cut off drunks are no fun
*the erector set look is cheesy, industrial, steampunk,rube Goldberg, any theme would be better

If it's like the video, that should fit in a van just fine. PM me to work out where and when.
