With mcsteves help, we've got a functional LCD mounted to the video conferencing cart and hooked up to the computer. There was a ceiling projector mount in the cart that needs to be modified for the sharp projector. We couldn't find any mounting screws on the larger older projectors. Instead of using the projector mount on the cart (was this the plan?) I propose we use it in the classroom to hang a projector from the ceiling.

I don't know what this mount looks like, but in the past we've hung the projector from a wire attached to a solid beam way above the drop ceiling, as there probably isn't sufficient support at the level of the drop ceiling. I say let's use it for the ceiling though if it works out somehow.
If it's this cart (I only have a shot of the keyboard) http://www.flickr.com/photos/eagletusk/ ... hotostream Then the projector on top almost feel off during the Arduino class and I think it needs to be looked at and perhaps modified to be sturdier
Yes, it's that dental looking cart. The projector stand was done rude Goldberg style (no offense to whoever made it.) I was thinking on the lines of having a projector lie on its back, projecting upwards, and having adjustable mirror(s) to position the image correctly on a wall. In any case, the cart will need a video splitter. It may also be pertinent to use danbackside's camera magnifying "thingie" attached to the cart, but I don't see how well that'll work yet. Some more tlc is needed on the system, so, anyone, please take a stab at it.
