[WANTED] USB Wi-Fi stick

If anyone's got one laying around, I could really use a USB Wi-Fi adapter for my robot. Preferably a Belkin G stick, because they're known to work with the Beagleboard most of the time.

Free would be good, but I'm also willing to pay.

While I do not have one, here is one for $15 at Buy.com

The unit looks like a USB flash drive, and pictured it is in a USB extender.

general nanosystems, a mile or 2 tops from the space, usually has one for $10, and pretty much always has one for $20.

I went to General Nanosystems yesterday and got one of the $10 ones, $10.77 with tax, I think. I asked if they had one that would work good with Linux, and they showed me one at $24. I decided to try the $10 model first. So... I plugged the thing into a machine running Linux Mint and it worked straight away without having to install the driver provided with the stick. This really surprised me, though I had previously installed some of the software packages for wireless, and that may have helped. Using it for several hours yesterday I didn't note any significant troubles with it either.

I'll have to see what General Nanosys has. The default kernel for the Beagleboard doesn't have a full set of wireless drivers, but there are a few chipsets known to work well.

Is Nanosystems in the University Ave construction zone?

It's west of where they actually started tearing up University this summer but the traffic control cones might go down University a block or so west of the SA gas station. If you're coming from 280 though you'll have to travel for just a bit between the highway and the SA station.
