I see that Menards has these things at more than half off, as best I can tell. I don't own one, but plan to get one this afternoon. I have a porta-mate miter saw stand that I really like and it's well made so hopefully this is too.
In this picture the vise has a normal handle, the Menards flyer show it with a Jawhorse like foot clamping mechanism.

Sorry it's so giant.
