Workspace Organization

So, I've just built my self a new workbench...

...which is rapidly becoming cluttered with all my stuff.

So my question is, what do you makers do for organization in your workspaces?

I have boxes upon boxes upon boxes...

IKEA makes these great little wooden chest-of-drawers things- nine drawers, about 12" by 15" by 9". Quite cheap, great for organizing little bits.

Also check hardware stores for the little plastic tray cabinets.

Get a good toolbox. For commonly used tools, consider pegboard on the wall behind the desk, or magnetic knife holders that mount to the wall, or super glue a magnet to your tools and put a metal sheet up somewhere.

Wire is a problem. I just keep mine in a drawer.

I use these shoebox sized clear plastic containers with lids. I like them because I can quickly scan the contents. Plus they stack up 5-6 tall on my work bench.
