This is nothing fancy, but I'm pleased about how it turned out. Our 18-yr-old's last day of school was today, and we're having a grad party for her this Saturday. Lots of school friends & extended family invited. So, we're gonna need tables, BUT, we waited too long to rent any. Apparently, everybody else already reserved them for their own grad parties. Like, all of them, everywhere.

Fortunately, I had an 8'x3' piece of 1/2-inch OSB in the garage, that a neighbor gave me (rather than trash it), plus a bunch of leftover scrap wood & screws from the deck project. Add $5 worth of 2-by-2 and 1-by-2 lumber, then throw in a half-day's work, et voila!

Make more, and then next weekend you'll be able to recoup your costs when you rent them out, and the weekend after, and next year...

I like the way you think. :D But I'll probably just re-reuse the lumber for other projects after this.
(actually... I'll most likely save the table for at least one more year, when our currently-16-yr-old graduates)
