Uptownmaker and/or Metis should have some news soon about Maker Faire development for the Twin Cities. Watch this space!
I'm watching! I'm watching!
I went to the Powderhorn Art Fair on Saturday, and ran into a local group that's teaching metal work: welding with torch, arc, etc. I hate to say but I've already forgotten their name.... but I have their card! They'll be having classes at their location on Chicago Ave. Sounds like they met some of you who were at the Science Museum's Make Day. So they're still aware of us. Could be some good cross-cultivation there for classes and groups to have in Maker Faire. Be nice to have some big metal stuff on display, where ever we are.
