This is Paul Sobczak saying goodbye for now, I will be taking a job outside of Minneapolis/St. Paul.
It has been great getting to know everyone at Twin Cities Maker, and I feel confident that the group will do well in the future. Unfortunately due to not being able to find a job in the Twin Cities area, I will have to leave. I think we are in rather good standing to move forward and I don't think me leaving will have any negative effect.
There are a few things that I will need to work out so I need people to step up and volunteer for: 1. Website maintenance (I think the moderators, are capable of doing this) 2. The two committee positions that I have (Finance and Programming)
I will continue to be around on the forum and will support the group in what I can while away. I think we have a really great thing going and I am sad to have to leave when things are really starting to get exciting, best of luck to everybody in the group and most of all thank you to everybody who has shown their support so far.
For those interested I am taking a job as an Electrical Field Engineer constructing a wind farm somewhere in the USA (not sure where yet). I have had experience doing the same thing before so that is nice, it is just unfortunate that it will be away from this group.
Once again good luck, and soon I hope to come back take a tour of the space all of you will have built.
-Paul Sobczak
P.S. I think the bike shed should be green.

Lame.......I mean the wind industry is crazy as I mentioned, but I'll look around for opportunities (It turns out that I am pretty well positioned for that, just not for myself unfortunately), because you are going to want to be around for the ride! TC Makers for Life!!!! What!? But seriously, glad you are getting income!

For everybody interested I just found out where I will be living, DeKalb, IL, and if you all don't know I will be an electrical field engineer at a wind farm. The farm in the Dekalb area and will be over 100 turbines, so I will be there for a good amount of time.
And yes I checked, Pumping Station one in Chicago is only 1:30 minutes away (I haven't warned them that I am coming yet.)
Good luck with everything, I will continue to stay involved in the community so you might see me popping up occasionally every once in awhile.
Let's Built it.

Thanks again, Paul, and you'll be welcome any time.
If you're going to be in town, give us a shout, eh?
