i'd like to step up for a committee like this one!

i think outreach is JUST as important as organizing the members that we do have.
geekpride should be cultivated - and methinks that deserves some people dedicated to getting the word out.

long term we need this, but short term we've got a LOT on our plates, and i'm not sure we want to distract from that until we've got more of a handle on who we are.

i'm all for casual bbqs and the like, but i don't think that until we have a more solid outline than just our constitution and a logo, that it's wise to recruit more than we currently are.
