Are they still meeting? That article is over two years old, and I can't find any significant web presence or mention of them.
There's one two-year-old post on a Nabble forum, and that article. That seems to be it.
Although "dorkbot" seems to be popular as a forum name in personals ads...

They should have put up a website this month, I was in contact with the lady over at U of M, but I guess I didn't look at the article date, my bad!
More info as it arrives.
