Welcome! Tomorrow night should be a low-key meetup, with discussion of wacky ideas, brews, miscellaneous interesting parts & components, and an absolute minimum of drama & procedure.

beer and pie.
welcome! tomorrow is just informal meet and greet and bounce project ideas around and exchange junk. look for the group of folks who don't all have macbooks in front of them. (or a lil sign on the table.)

sounds great.
I haven't done much since school (2 years ago), but I want to get into doing DIY projects with microcontrollers and other small electronics projects. I've seen a lot of cool things out there like the guy who built a device that sends out a tweet on twitter when the wash machine was done.
I have some other ideas of larger projects I'd like to work on, but I doubt that I would have enough free time to complete them.
I did a bunch of stuff with data aquisition controllers, building circuits and writing programs back in college. Just looking to get back into that kind of stuff.
