Who are these guys, what do they donate to get such a prominent place on our front page?

They are a local ISP, and Orion would have to give the details, but they have covered our shortages at least twice that I have heard of.
They must have some connection with a member, and our events show up on their mailed events Calendar.
Disclaimer, they are also my ISP of five plus years but I have no other contact with them.

if they are giving less than $50 a month, I would like to suggest they get removed.
If they are giving more, like a lot more then it seems ok, but it seems strange, what does sponsorship of a hackerspace intail?
I guess I feel like all of us are sponsoring TCmaker @ $50 a month and don't get our logos/faces on the blog.

I could not tell you how much, but yes, sponsorship should be outlined in some form of documentation.
I am sure many members would like some free advertisement if that is what the threshold is.
But since there is no real cost involved, I think it is a fair way to thank organizations that donate money and cause no wear and tear on our tools.
From what I recall this is one of the few organizations that have just donated to us, without some sort of return transaction needed.
But you are right, it should be defined.

I know I get my face on the blog on a regular basis, thanks to a certain someone taking lots of pictures and posting them.
As a semi humorous aside, take it from me, don't tell your wife you weren't at the space having a beer, when there are clearly dated pictures that prove otherwise. (thanks Paul =) )
