so... the plan thus far:
sat the 28th, we scrounge up a propane heater, and put together a tension catapult in my garage using a piece of steel strap as the backbone of a laminated and wrapped beam attached to some sort of steel bowl to fling bean bag cherries made from extra elmo fur.
am i missing anything?
i'm free this sat afternoon if we want to get started, which may not be a bad plan since one day will be pushing it to laminate the beam up.

i'm thinking good rope may be all we need to buy on this... we'll see once i finish plans.... hopefully today... maybe some veneer for the spoon....
