The image is called Self Portrait As a Machine by OCAL. A link to "OCAL's" profile from there states "I use this account to keep track of cliparts downloaded from openclipart.org project." It seems not to be an original work of OCAL's then, and I haven't tracked the source by looking at openclipart.org.

OK, I tracked this a little more. It seems the face is that of Tamas Toth, as evidenced on this openclipart page.

That could just be a draft, y'know. The face & skyline could be substituted with an actual stylized Maker face (Paul?) and downtown Mpls. skyline silhouette.

Yah, this is an iconic representation, that's all. The source of the building was some free vector clipart. We could use more of a classic "maker" image, such as the b/w electronics guy/mechanic you'd see in the back page ads of Popular Mechanics or Popular Electronics, or we could make up something unique as well.

Possible Simple Letterhead

Postby wammie » Sun Jan 31, 2010 2:41 am

Here's a possible design for a simple letterhead. In the banners and such I didn't really like having two logos, so this letterhead has one logo. There are two stars to represent Minneapolis and St. Paul. Let me know what y'all think.
