Anyone up for a wireless antenna building night? I'm thinking maybe we could build some WiFi antennas, and other's if people are interested. Things like the Cantenna, Bi-Quad sardine antenna, etc.
Let me know, I'm more then willing to teach the class and provide materials for people at cost. ($4.50 for connectors, Bring your own soup or other wise can.)

I'd be game for this. I could also show people (though it's not that hard at all) how to do the HDTV antenna as well.

Sweet- I would like to combine this with the DC612 February meeting, on the second Thursday of the month.... any objections or spots that have been used for that day(Thursday the 11th 2010)?

we need to sort out some policy things for other groups/non-members in the space yet, that conversation is rolling with the board atm, but let's continue that this evening before anything is publicized. i don't forsee any issue, but before we start having non-members in the space on a non- wednesday open meeting basis we should have a semblence plan.

As I recall, Mr. Hord had a whole lot of cables (pigtail?) that are appropriate for plugging cantennas into some models of wireless networking cards.

That's rich, wammie- you know what I have better than I do!!!
I'll look and see if I can find what you're referring to. Maybe I DO have something useful in this arena...
