Articles of Incorporation as presented and amended at this meeting be adopted? -- passed unanimously
Shall the Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws be
filed with the Minnesota Secretary of State as soon as possible?
- We should seek legal counsel first, such as Michael F's friend Jim, or the nonprofit-specific lawyers associated with
Springboard for the Arts.
- AFTER legal consultation and possibly making recommended changes to the Articles and Bylaws, THEN file documents
Dues -
Dues Schedule proposed -- passed unanimously
- we will start collecting dues on July 1
(already passed, sorry - Theo) but more practically at the first business meeting in July, which will be on the
8th, and we'll need to be able to issue
receipts!
(beer break; name/interest circle) Clothesline Race-O-Rama brainstorming
- Similar to a Cub-Scout-style Pinewood Derby, except with little zip-line runners instead of little cars
- Have a private, TCM-only proof-of-concept race first, to iron out rules & details
- Have the small-scale race at Theo's house, off the second-story deck to the back fence?
