For anybody who is interested I am planning on bringing my theremin up to the twin cities early Wednesday and setting up a booth asking for 25 cent donations to play the theremin, I am currently looking for a wizard hat too

if anybody is interested in participating is more than free to come.

I will need to power a set of speakers and a theremin in a mobile rig, the theremin and speakers are 120 ac, I was thinking about using a 12volt or two and a car converter box that I think I still have, any other suggestions?

Places where such a thing might work out well under different timing: near or in one of the Farmer's Markets (be sure to ask for permission before setting up), Nicollet Mall, possibly Hennepin or First Ave near Block E.

I'm not sure what the law says regarding that sort of thing. Maybe at one of the light rail stops on a night when a Twins game is occurring, if that's legal. Near the Science Museum on a nice day, perhaps? The Sculpture Garden?

My guess is you are more likely than anything going to be politely asked to move or leave before finding yourself in any "Imperial entanglements".

Here is my current setup: Battery pack that has been charging all night that appears to be less full than this morning (hope that isn't the case) and 75 watt dc to ac converter that I found, then to the speakers and theremin. Looking back that is not that exciting, I will take some pictures along the way, and maybe even record some people if they are good.

I think I will set up as soon as I get some were in the cities where I see a bunch of people, maybe I'll try dinky town first that sounds good.
