MIDI help

Postby swinkdaddy » Fri Sep 28, 2012 12:23 pm

I am looking into doing a little MIDI control of some sound effects and processors. But I'll be honest I dont know squat about midi control. But I am starting to get into sequencing instruments and building loops for a songwriting project. If you are handy at making music via midi controls, I'd love to chat. I'll bring the beer.

It's good fun, I've never made anything anyone would call music however, and certainly not using MIDI. I used to know a lot about MIDI show control, which just abuses MIDI to control what ever types of devices you like. I may have a book that talks about MIDI, and help me learn about it once upon a time, I'll see if I can find it. It's great stuff.
