The minutes recorded will be posted later, as well as more details on how we approached at the following conclusions. I just wanted to get these few things up ASAP before it gets all over the place.

The following decisions were made upon those present reaching a consensus.

• We shall officially be known as "Twin Cities Maker," which can be abbreviated to TCMaker, tcmaker, etc.
• Skyler's ThinkPad was named secretary to record and report the minutes of meetings
• Our Mission Statement shall be, Twin Cities Maker: "A Twin Cities based community to make, share, and learn”

The rest of the minutes will be posted shortly, hopefully before I leave for Arizona on Sat.

Due to the loosely organized discussion oriented nature of this meeting the minutes are more of a summary of discussion than motion/action oriented minutes.

Glad the group moved quickly to establish the name and mission statement:
"A Twin Cities based community to make, share, and learn." Sometimes organizations take a long time to argue/discuss these things, but the sooner they're established, the better.

I saw somewhere on the website where to RSVP for meetings, but I can't find it now. I may be able to make the next meeting.

Thanks for the notes! That was very informative. I haven't been able to make a meeting for about a month or so. I wasn't sure what the "First Official Meeting" was going to be, since we'd already met a number of times. I was worried I'd miss out on the Secret Decoder Ring.
