Posted a pic on my blog, pretty exciting... ...actually I'm pretty pumped it turned out so well, still need to drill some holes in the top to vent heat from the transformer. http://noiseislife.tumblr.com/

The wire is currently around 14", could probably get a couple more inches out of the existing setup.
It's all just held together by tension so it would easy to swap out longer pieces of threaded rod if a wider cutter is ever needed.

Again, very nicely done. You da man. I'm excited to see what Nick can do with this and a block of styrofoam. Think we could do a spot welder next? (yes, I'm just full of ideas, aren't I?... I'd love to help, though) (oh, and here's an example video)

Still, add some good insulation, an actual safety enclosure, swap the tacked-on wall-type lightswitch with a heavy-duty momentary footswitch... Steve Austin will be that spot welder... better than he was before...

10:00 AM at Michael's garage, tomorrow morning. You can PM him if you need directions. There will be Real Coffee which I shall provide. The 'pult frame is a nice sturdy thing, now; with a few more nuts for the carriage bolts (which I'll pick up), we should be free to concentrate on: spoon creation rope spring & windlass foam hands and of course the Cherry Bombs.
