I wish I could participate, but we have a busy Saturday. Swim class and then Robots and Rockets class at the Sci. Museum.

Hell no to the eating beforehand. We should have someone hit up Crescent Moon for some Afghani pizza... either that or there's that new Thai place on Central that is very, very good. I will bring the Shop Vac (actually, mine is a Rigid) if it's still needed, and a cordless drill/reciprocating saw. Also, I was thinking about bringing a 5 gal keg of Maibock, if no one objects, but I completely understand if drinking and besieging do not mix.

I'm all for the food ideas, and I do likes them innerestin' beers -- but I like them after power tools, precision work, and the close proximity of high intelligence & enormous egos thrown together for their first crack at collaborating on a tricky task.

shopvac i do have. beer is always welcome (depending on who is using what tools and with how much beer) porta table saw woule be brilliant.
spoon may work or be a base to buikd from. the model ive worked up is a 3' spoon and 5" cherry.
seem si can mostly get to the forum on my phone so i'll check in on occasion if anyone else needs directions.
