Upon the final outcome of the space expansion issue, we should start to talk about what we need to get to have meetings, small group projects, storage, Safety Equipment, administration equipment, etc...
I got a couple of single pillar tables and maybe a couple folding chairs that I have had stored for a while, and maybe a bunch more depending on how we choose to use the group/space.
And we can search Craigslist for some free tables / chairs, benches, storage shelves, lockers (or cabinets with some locking device) etc...
I will be at the meeting Wednesday, and we can talk about it, but since I am driving the truck down anyways, should I dig out those tables?

Now that we have a space, I have a eight foot table, those two small 4' circluar tables, to start with.
We also need to find a Coatrack, Mike said he could get an Desk, and some more shelving.
I think one of the early projects should be a hand tool rack, and storage for power hand tools and charging stations..

The best place in the cities for used/recycled office equipment is the Reuse Center at the University of Minnesota. http://www1.umn.edu/reuse/

While I am not sure they still do, PPL in NE MPLS used to have lab and shop benches, tables, chairs, etc...
My second computer desk was a chemistry table at some high school in the 70's...
Really what we should do is talk about what is needed based on demand.
I know we could find a free cuble partition someplace and set up a electronics/electrical station in that.. But what is going where has to be addressed first.
I did note on Wednesday that if / when we get a welding, glassblowing, melting things area, that we have no fire supression systems. So that will be a concern for that.

I was at PPL shop a little while ago, and yes. They have great HD work tables and steel cabinets. Also have lockers, but thought the lockers were kind of pricey at the time.
