I have a bunch of what appears to be stainless steel rods from printers, some are small 2 to 4 mm, others get up near 1/2 inch.

I have a couple uses for them, so I keep picking them up, but does anybody have a need for a quantity of them?

I was thinking that if somebody wanted to make Lathe Tools, or other tools the larger ones may be good. The thinner ones could make coat hooks, tool hooks, whatever you can think of. I could put a couple in stock and fill them as those get used?

Let me know.

These also make great trebuchet axles.

If you know anyone who makes trebuchets.

I dropped 30ish rods off at the HF tonight, they are in the cardboard drawers as there was a drawer for them already...

Give me an idea if I should collect more, I get about 15 a week or so at Free Geek.

I definitely have a use for a few of the biggest ones 1/2" ish would be great. I'll check the drawer when I'm in tomorrow.
