Mayday got the Hackfactory some leftover / and problematic electronics thanks to Cable Channel 15 Roseville and area.
The gear that is open to be used included several LCD displays that are called bad, but could be simple items like Backlights. Once Volunteer offered to check them out.
Two boxes of Avaya phones and misc stuff - Hack Away
Two P4 motherboards with 1G ram, just need a case, HD and optical drive.... JRSPhoto had them in his hands last I saw of them.
A couple of small scanners - stepper motors and optical grade glass... -
One IBM All in one system, that includes a display - this would be a great head unit for our ad ministration of HF gear, which is what it was used for...
One thermal label printer that I am working on getting set up so we can use it for either barcode or general labels at the HF.
one portable dvd player that has a bad tracking arm, so it is just a 7inch LCD
One Viewsonic air tablet that needs batteries and a 19v power brick.
I had to leave before most of it was sorted into the parts area, and I will try to get down to the space to try to sort what is left over on Tuesday.
