Interactive media artist Mio I-zawa’s “mechanical tumor” is a hunk of fleshy, organic-looking material that quivers and grows depending on the amount of stress your computer is experiencing.

PS anyone see any DC micro air pumps @ ax man recently? I am thinking about making a "bio-mechanical" element to a steampunk outfit for Halloween. I've thought about a syringe hooked to a linear actuator, but thats kinda bulky.

Wow, actually I think we're all essentially tumors on these computers :lol:

Too bad I didn't see this post earlier today. I went to a doctor today and stopped at Ax Man on Univesity Ave. after that. They had a LOT of small DC motors, but I didn't specifically look for or see air pump motors.
