I recently purchased

Hal Chamberlin, Musical Applications of Microprocessors, 2nd Edition, Hayden, 1982; if you get just one book, this is THE book to get. Although it has "microprocessors" in the title, it has a superb section on analog circuits.

based on recommendation from the ece4803B Theory and Design of Music Synthesizers But I haven't even paged through it yet. I hope it will be helpful in the future.

That is ece4803B is stuffed full of goodies, I think I'm missing some prereqs though, was feeling challenged just by the review material in the 4th vid.
