It's off topic, but that's why there is an off-topic forum right?

Saw this and thought it was extremely cool, sadly it is not cheap, but an interesting concept none the less. You can check it out here, small enough for us to find room for it in the welder area should you feel compelled to by one.

Oddly I found the alibaba rip verion before I could refind this, it's not much cheaper, you need to buy a container full, etc , etc

If I only had the spare income, 2K is not that much, and it covers many other tools.

But it is something to look into when I do..

I love how it sounds. Single phase, no to low amperage, no oxy-cetalyine storage red tape. About twice the cost of an oxy-cetyline rig but without the overhead and more portable.

If the site is telling the truth then the 2k would be worth it. I think.

They mention it's good for soldering, too. I wonder if 14,400 degrees F would be good for surface mount work. :lol:
