OK, time to pull the trigger! I'm going to wipe the old wiki and load the new code today (in just a few minutes, in fact). I've downloaded the old MediaWiki files, but I don't have DB access so there's no dump of that yet.
New wiki momentarily...

'Tis done! At least the basics... A post will be going up on the blog shortly. Registration is disabled for now. If you want access, PM me with: - The username you want
- The real name you want (it will appear at the bottom of pages you edit)
I'll generate a random password and PM it back.

I'll generate a random password and PM it back. My understanding is that Dokuwiki can integrate with the forums authentication system, is that being / going to be implemented soon? I love the Wiki, but I think it's doomed if it requires another login. Thanks Pete

I have not tried, but I am guessing that you did not carry over the prior Wiki login info?

PM me with: The username you'd like An email address The name you want to appear on your edits (this can be changed later) I'll set up an account, and PM you back with the initial password.

It looks like the phpBB auth plugin may actually take user info from the phpBB database. The forum has open registration right now, which I'm not that wild about having on the wiki.

Open registration yes, but administrator approved activation. (And we're blocking countries worth of IP addresses.) Every user is activated by a forum admin before they can do anything.
