Re: Anyone local tried to build this DIY headtracker?

So... I've ordered two pairs of these chips to play with. They'll be arriving on a slow boat from China sometime in June (hopefully).

Re: Art-A-Whirl

I think we will have representation!! Last week Sarah B. asked around to get volunteers to attend our exhibit. I tentatively volunteered for Sunday. If anyone else is interested in volunteering, PM me and I'll provide a contact email.

Micro Center has a boatload of electronics and DIY stuff now

I'm sure some of our members are aware - but just in case you're not and haven't been to Micro Center lately - if you're into DIY electronics, robotics, rockets, Arduino/propeller/stamp micro controllers, Make:/Sparkfun kits, etc., Micro Center in St. Louis Park now has a large assortment of kits an...

I think I'm going to get the parts and play with it, but instead of feeding PWM output into an RC con...

Re: Game Engine group feeler

Well, I've installed the Unity 4.0 engine on my home computer, viewed some web-based demos and tutorials, and played around with it a bit. Not getting very far yet. I haven't done any game development whatsoever, but I'm interested in educational simulations and Unity seems an ideal platform for a n...
