Re: Contextual Electronics -- Online Electronics Design Cour

Hi.

I design all the Wayne and Layne PCBs using Kicad. I am relatively active on the developer's list, and maintain the Ubuntu/Debian builds, and am doing some fun secret work on it for OSHPark. Let me know if you have issues with it.

Re: Copper clad board, do we have any Radio Shack did not...

A year or so ago, I brought in some copper clad, some photo resist, some muriatic acid for making awesome etchant, sponges, and nitrile gloves. It may have been thrown out.

Anyone going to be in the space tonight? (9/15)

I left my Blinky POV fan in the space, and my late dues meant I couldn't get in tonight. Any chance someone can let me in tonight to get my fan?

Re: Borrow the Makerbot?

I had issues with the Makerbot over the weekend, and pretty much decided our bot didn't have the accuracy I needed to print our new Prusa parts. Re: Laser Cutter

I spent most of my free time this summer finding a new day job, and whatever extra I had I spent on a project commitment that ended up taking between 10 and 100 times as much work as I predicted. The funds ended up being drained for that "project committment," so I'll have to wait for some...

Re: Interest in Upright MAME Cabinet for HF?

wammie, that's how I've always transported my cabs. Be careful--the weight can be weirdly distributed! The sizes can also be deceiving. A Gauntlet cab can fit in an Astro with no seats with only an inch or two to spare.

28 pin DIP sockets

Hi all! I am in need of fifteen 28 pin DIP sockets tomorrow or Saturday. This is like a standard breadboardy 28 pin socket. There are probably some at the space, and if not, I'm *sure* someone has 15 in a box somewhere. I can pay or give you some awesome EE thing for it. It's past 8 PM, or I'd get t...

Re: Borrow the Makerbot?

Please be very careful when you use the word official. I believe there are legal requirements for certain communications that the tcmaker organization puts out. We need to be absolutely clear that we aren't talking about that at all.
