Re: Power at the Factory

How are the new fixtures in that room wired? I.E. The overhead lights? Do they connect to a box on the bus bar? Or are they fed from elsewhere?

Re: Power at the Factory

The Trol-E-Duct system is described starting on page 80 of this document:

It might also be BD Busway, which is described on page 76.

Re: Shop plans/Infrastructure

Ok, I took the pdf I got from Metis and used it as the basis for a very rudimentary model in Google SketchUp (a free download from http://sketchup.google.com/ ) Eagle-eyed viewers will notice that the floorplan (which should be visible in x-ray mode) is not exactly accurate to the space (i.e. how do...

Re: space planning committee timing?

Re: space planning committee timing?

I'm definitely interested, but later in the evening works better for me (after I put the kids to bed). Is 9PM too late to start?

Re: Shop plans/Infrastructure

Karin - that would be great!

Metis - Isn't a Revit license $5k?

Are any members electricians or plumbers, or know someone who would cut us a deal or barter labor?

Shop plans/Infrastructure

Hi everyone, I'm a new member as of last Wednesday (you can blame Riley for the great tour he gave). I poked around the forums and wiki a bit and couldn't find too much related to my question -- so here goes. I'm wondering if we have access to a floorplan of the shop, including the new space. Maybe ...
